We are back with another issue of the “The Mad Lab” posts. This time we are putting the idea of arranging some visual content block – a block of HTML containing text, images, links etc – in to a super sexy interactive content gallery. Last time we created a slick image gallery display and this time we are going to tame some HTML code blocks in to a visual gallery presentation with interactive responses all using plain and pure CSS3 declarations.

Keeping up with the tradition of “The Mad Lab” posts we are experimenting with CSS and are presenting our readers with a solution that may not be practical in any manner. But they can slice, dice and mince the code to make it useful and practical for their own personal use.

This second post from “The Mad Lab” is going to be equally funny as its predecessor creation as we are making a fun filled CSS only content gallery which is going to be visually rocking with cool animations, pop out effects etc. all without using a single line of JavaScript or any other client side scripting engines. We are going to build this pure CSS Content gallery using plain HTML mark-up and CSS only.

Not all chemicals are bad. Without chemicals such as hydrogen and oxygen, for example, there would be no way to make water, a vital ingredient in beer.” – Dave Barry

August 5th celebrated as the International Beer day. We are making a special wallpaper pack to celebrate this day, which is an ode to the worlds most consumed and oldest alcoholic beverage.

International Beer Day was invented in 2007 in Santa Cruz, California in the United States. Specifically, the holiday has three declared purposes: first, to gather with friends and enjoy the taste of beer; second, to celebrate those responsible for brewing and serving beer; and third, to bring the world together under the united banner of beer by celebrating the beers of all nations and cultures together.

Fill with mingled cream and amber, I will drain that glass again. Such hilarious visions clamber through the chambers of my brain. Quaintest thoughts, queerest fancies, come to life and fade away. What care I how time advances? I am drinking ale today.” – Edgar Allan Poe

Beer is one of the world’s most consumed alcoholic beverage and probably the oldest one too. After water and tea it stands at the third place as the most consumed beverage on the planet. Brewed from malted cereal grains this frothy beverage has a very rich cultural connection in many of the nations across the world.

The History of this beverage is as fascinating as the drink itself. It is thought that about 10,000 years ago, in the Middle East, nomadic peoples began to grow and harvest grain and set up settlements near the fields. Some archeologists believe the reason man did this was to make beer.
